I used Frosts, no problems with them. Personally Spongy I wouldn't bother with the White topcoat. The POR-15 gives a nice looking Silver finish. It is rock hard and any subsequent top coats don't adhere to it that well.
You must use the Metal prep though, make sure you order it! POR is really good stuff.
Oh, and if you get it on your skin, it will NOT come off.

It will come off before it fully dries with standard thinners but once its dry its there to stay.You must use the Metal prep though, make sure you order it! POR is really good stuff.

It needs to bond to metal (rusty metal is ok provided it's not flakey), or one of the compatible undercoats afaik
correct - it's designed to adhere to bare metal. If you are just touching up a few tatty bits you're better off using a zinc primer and a tough white top coat.Sorry to be a knuckle head
What i am about to do is cut out the section of outrigger on the rear drivers side,from the bottom mitre to the main rail at the back.a wish bone has a fitting to the rail so it should be fun.Now Knowing me once this gets under way things will lets say get fussy.The chassis is near perfect on close inspection only a couple of little marks,but once i start cleaning her down we all know what may be hideing.Have seen POR15 do a white two stage paint that they say is the best out there.What i was planning was to coat any bare areas with their rust paint if needed;)Then prime over that,and any powder coat that may be on the section being done,then the white top coat to hopefully blend in with the other bits.By the way the section coming out is 100% not rusty,lets just say she has accuired two nasty dented parts
