I sold the pan homage as it wasn't really 'me'. I do however love the Toshi strap I had made for it and would like to put that to good use.

The homage was at the cusp of size that I'd consider at 44mm, and I quite liked that it was PVD'd, I felt it went well with the strap.

Can anyone recommend anything at the cheaper end of the scale? Say under £200? I'd prefer an auto or manual wind to a quartz, not bothered by diving but something more casual looking to match the style of the strap would be nice.

Winning at the minute is another getat watch but with a more sterile dial and superlume. Another thought is a PVD'd Seiko 007/009 but I think they have 22mm lugs don't they and I don't fancy buying another strap at £60+, resale value doesn't seem good when mine wont sell @ £40.

Open to suggestions! confused

Can't help with an idea for a 24mm but I can confirm that the 007/009 is a 22mm

I would suggest persevering with the sale.

There aren't any watches I can think of in your budget with 24mm lugs and even if you lose a few ££ on the strap it's surely better than spending money on a watch simply because you have a strap that fits it?

Sorry to hear the watch has gone, but I'm glad you like the strap smile

Can't offer advise at your price point, but just wanted to mention that if the strap has tubes in it (which i believe it did), please remember to push them out if you ever put the strap on a non-Panerai Luminor watch. If you fit the strap to a watch that uses spring bars to hold it in place, you'll never get it off again unless the watch has drilled lugs! The tubes are not fixed, they can be pushed out if not required wink

Used Enzo Mechanas are probably out of your budget unless you find one that needs fixing servicing. They use the same case at the square Ocean7s but have an ETA 2824-2 movement (and different dials, of course).
