Best place to sell a car

I have a small japanese sports car to sell.. What are the best places/sites to sell it ? Im trying to avoid the usual timewasters, tyre kickers, foreign friends etc etc ...

Well you could try here for starters, seeing as its free. take some good quality pics and plenty of them. Be honest about any problems and list everything that it has got.

IMO:

Gumtree is a no-go. Its entirely full of scammers and timewasters.

Here... well... I didn't have too much success selling either my MR2 or my Subaru on here... although I had a couple of calls about the MR2 as I recall.

eBay. Every vehicle I've ever listed on ebay has sold for the money I wanted for it. Every single one. If you list it right, you write a lot of detail and you are sensible about the price then you can get people into a minor bidding war, you can get people who snipe (If your starting price is right it doesn't matter if they do that!) and sometimes you even get people offering you money outside of ebay.

eBay is the way forward.
