Well thats the boot switch fixed, copious amounts of contact cleaner, working 100% now. Cleaned up the badge, last wee job is need to adjust the hight of the bootlid when closed, do I adjust the bit in the bootlid , or the catch? Need it slightly higher.
The top catch, in the lid. Has two 13mm bolts, slacken and the catch will move up and down as the holes are slotted. You may find it stuck with carpet glue and the like, but it should free off. Just adjust , trial and error, until the desired hight is reached.
