I might join you if that's okay. In honesty, I quite fancy a lie in and a drive out afterwoods but I don't know the roads well enough so I'm waiting to see if anyone organises one! I did one with Kong last time around which was a hoot. Probably won't do two runs so if one doesn't get organised I might tag along with you.

What cars are going so far? (I don't know the way and don't want to get left behind.)

We've got a 997 GT2 and a 997 GT3 amongst a few Focus RS's and a Westfeild. A few have dropped out sadly after realising it's Easter Sunday haha

Ahh okay. I'm not worried about driving hard, and last time kept up with a tvr, 3.0 z4 and a rx8 in the puma without much trouble but these are in a different leauge. I checked your posts and thought you had a fiesta!! Is this going to be worth me coming along or will I literally be lost at the first turn?

I'm getting my new car on Monday so I'm currently car-less, the cars coming are all my customers, I've no idea how people are planning to drive, but as I said your more than welcome to come along, majority of the drive is dual carriageway so not much hard driving will be going on tbh..

If you can keep up with a TVR you'll be fine with the Porsches. smile

Okay, so more of a convey up rather than a hoon. Maybe I could do a hoon afterwoods too then! I'll get back to you. Cheers.

I didn't realise that we had a detailing specialist in Harrogate Tom.

I normally go up to Malton early doors, a few of us doing a couple of hours run before hand. Sadly the usual suspects are all away this time so I'm not sure whether to go up or not. This will also be my first time going over from Harrogate.

Plus frown the Ferrari is still waiting impatiently for its new exhaust from Italy, so it would be in the Z4 which, although nice to have an open top run up, is not quite the same.

Are you guys definitely sticking to the main road? And will you have a confirmed list of cars?

On another note, I'd be quite interested in seeing your setup Tom as the TR will need doing at some point.

I think were just planning on setting off, and following the TomTom, the way home may be a different story, but general consensus was that 7.30 was early enough!

No conformation of cars, just who ever turns up really, a few have realised it's Easter Sunday and swmbo have stepped in, but even if there's only a handful it will still be good, especially with several hundred others travelling over I'm sure we'll bump into people!

We have found over the years that: Way there = nice, quiet, empty roads... Way back = hordes of day trippers taking granny for a drive!
