Just bit the bullet today and bought a 57cm Weber One Touch, and we have both sets of parents over for lunch on Sunday, so it would be rude not to use them as the guinea pigs for my first go at smoking!

I've cooked every evening meal on the bbq this week so far and will do so for the rest of the week
Sunday: Burgers, sausages, chicken, etc.
Monday: Chicken stuffed turkey escalopes with lemon and coriander potatoes
Tuesday: Chilli con carne
Wednesday: Pinwheel (like a slice of a sausage and pastry swiss roll from parents local butchers), cajun potato wedges and peas
Thursday: Baked salmon and salad with yoghurt, cucumber and mint dressing
Friday: Grilled pork steaks with apple mash and mashed potatoes

Mediterranean / North African flavours I think:

- Hummous with crudités
- Lamb kofte in toasted pittas with yogurt-mint sauce
- Merguez in baguettes
- Tomato salad with red onion, cucumber, mint and coriander
- Carrot salad with a sprinkling of orange flower water
- Sliced oranges with dusted cinnamon over
