Car returning from insurance repair, what to check...

My friends car was in a rear end accident, his car was stopped and the guy hit him around 20-30mph. Everything was done under insurance and he told them to make sure they use official parts as his car is still under warrantee.
He wants to know what to look out for when he recieves the car to make sure everything has been carried out properly. I told him to make sure they provide all the receipts of official parts being used, to make sure the paintwork has been resprayed well, panel gaps are good and no other damage has been done to the car while it was being repaired. Every single part that needs replacing after the accident needs to be named otherwise it won't be replaced. My Golf needed a new front bumper, which was replaced, but because no one ever mentioned the rubbing strip on the corner of the bumper the scraped one was attached to the new bumper. I thought that would automatically be replaced along with the bumper so didn't really need a specific mention. Also check wheel alignment. When I got my car back from the dealer it was pulling to the left and they had to keep it another day to put it right.
Make sure the sockets at the back of the lights are tightly plugged in and wired up correctly, otherwise the lights won't work or you might get the wrong lights operating, eg - flashing tail light instead of indicator.
