Part time/Weekend for for School Student

Hello all,

Well I just found this part of the forum and I thought that I may as well give this a go. My name is Phil and I am a MASSIVE petrolhead no doubt I know I want to work in the motoring industry and I have already had a work experience week with Paragon Porsche which was nothing short of amazing. Since then I turned to writing and motor journalism and I absolutely adore it having worked at Kelsey Publishing with motoring journalists and been published in Total BMW

What I would love is to know some other jobs that would let me work with cars so I'm asking the PH jobs people if they can help me here, other than in sales and writing what/where could I work as a 17 yr old student.

I do currently work on a temporary contract at the weekend, but really would love to work with cars, do you know anywhere?

Have you asked Paragon for any feedback? Admittedly they only saw you for a short while, but did you make any impression upon them, good or bad? Worth asking them and at the same time tell them you're looking to get in to the industry now because of them (flattery may get you everywhere!). And ask them where they struggle to get good people for (sales, service, technicians, supplies etc, etc) and consider that line of attack. Remember, to be successful, either in business or as an individual, provide what is scarce. Good luck!

Yes I did get feedback from them all positive . And they did want me to work for them but they already had someone there, I keep in contact with them still it would be very nice to work for them, pretty awesome people there
