whats it worth?

a good friend has jumped ship and has landed a job in singapore for the next two years and has left me in charge of selling his e46 m3 soft top.
not being my usuall of cup of tea(although a stunning car),i'm looking for any ideas from you guys as to what its worth.
following spec.
05 plate cabriolet
manual 6 spd
carbon black
red leather
19" alloys
harmon cardon
sat nav
bluetooth
65k
fsh but is now due 1.
this is not an advert but i dont want to undersell it for him and just need an idea of what i should let it go for.
any ideas gladly appreciated

Have a look at the private sales on here and Autotrader as a first step - that will give you an idea. Off the top of my head I would have thought an opening at £14,750 would be a good start.

Do you know which service is due next, as if it is an Inspection II and the brake fluid also needs doing then this is probably going to be circa £1100 at a main dealer, or £6-700 at a specialist, assuming nothing else needs doing.

I bought a cab after xmas - pretty much exact spec to that car with 29k from a BMW dealer (so full 1 yr warranty) for about £16.5k

Would maybe put that one at circa 13k +?

Cheers for the replies folks.looking on line today I reckon 13 -13.5 wouldn't be asking silly money for it.im glad hes away as I don't fancy telling him what its worth now when he paid 18k for it last year!hey Ho.
