Cheap train tickets ?

[bigdods]

Is there anywhere online that sells cheap train tickets for next day/two days away ? I checked the train ticket company that advertises on the TV 2 days in advance, they wanted £80 for 4 x cheap day tickets to london for me,the mrs and the kids. And that didnt include parking , another £6.50.

Bought tickets at the station on the day, total of £50 including parking. So how can they claim its cheaper in advance/online ?

And I didnt get my peak/off peak mixed up, peak tickets for the same journey are ~ £140.

Always found going direct to the train companies got me the cheapest , I usually try SWT as they don't charge a fee for payment either. Also, if you haven't already worth getting a Family Railcard
