Hi guys,
Thinking of driving from Essex down to Eastborne along the coast to Bournemouth and then on to Devon/Cornwall over the next couple of days and staying over on the way. Any recommendations on where to stay (dont mind paying upto £150 a night, more if its a bit special), must see places to visit or stop to eat (prefer pub grub)? Is it a good drive or should I head straight to Devon? And should I do it in the TT or the X5?
Any advice appreciated.

My girlfriend is from the Eastbourne area, just been there for a couple of days for her birthday. Stayed here http://www.beachyhead.org.uk/the_tiger_inn_info.ht... was very pleasnt.

Pretty cheap with a nice pool aned jacuzzi etc.
Just dont let the transvestite maid put you off, he/she is very very funny skipping along singing to himself.
