Do Porsche owners regularly plaster their cars in Audi badges or was the Cayman I saw just a one off? It had an RS badge under one headlight, a little Audi badge under the other and an S2 badge on the boot. Why? Pic when I get home

That's weird...

Years ago I once saw a ropey old range rover with a ford badge stuck on the back, some years later ford came to own land rover.
Now we have Porsche and VAG doing some merge/takeover thing and you see this....

Anyone else got the twilight zone music in their head now??

Perhaps he rang up and then said he actually wanted an Audi convertible and the seller said "You're in luck" and by the time he arrived, there it was, an Audi convertible... SOLD!! wink

Maybe he wanted a Porsche and his misses wouldn't have it, but instead wanted a nice Audi, so he bought a Porsche stuck on an Audi badge. ''Oh look love, a lovely Audi'' Probably hoping she couldn't tell the difference.

Sounds like something someone would do, now if he just debadged it.

LOL!! I can actually think of at least one female friend of mine who would totally be fooled by that.....

One Porsche Cayman RS2:

Couldn't get the other badges as, unfortunately, the owner was sat in it.

eeeeergh, what have they done to the front of it?

That chicken wire is ghastly.

I would have done a basil-fawtly style chicken walk past the front of it. "Baaaaaak bok bok bok bok baaaaaaaark!"

the guy lives round the corner in a ex council house with council standard pebble dashing, you don't expect there to be any sense of taste? The car must be worth more than his house.

ETA: Or maybe not, looking on Streetview the house appears to have the new council standard pebble dashing. A Porsche owner in social housing. Whatever next.

In which case I'm surprised it's not badged up as a Porsche Cayman RS2 Turbo Cayenne GT3 Avant GTi 4S.
