Can anyone tell me where the front windscreen washer pump is located? It looks like I have a failed pump (washer bottle full, no leaks, rear washer works but no noise when the wiper control is pulled forward for the front washer)

My guess is it's down behind the bumper but before I start taking the car apart a few pointers would be useful like where do you get access to it.

Any help appreciated.

As above, on most cars it's normally part of the washer bottle, take the bottle out and should be a small motor on the bottom/side of it, try cleaning the connectors and checking the fuse first!

If it is a T30, it is inside the drivers side front wing. I would guess you would need to get to it from inside the front wing, wheel off, take off the inner plastic panels to gain access to the water reservoir and pump.

It's a 54 reg so I'll assume that's a T30! I think you just confirmed my worst suspicion. Better get busy with the jet washer then. Thanks for the info.

OK, not so bad. A quick jet wash and off with the wheel. I found I didn't even have to remove the wing liner; just remove the fixings at the front end and peel back.

Confirmed that the front washer pump was not working so decided to swap with the rear as an interim fix but of course the electrical connectors are not interchangeable! Ended up with the rear wash control for the front washers.

That's when I thought about giving the front washer pump a few gentle taps and hey presto it started working again.

Glad you got it sorted. It certainly is easier when they put it in the engine bay.
