going to buy a cerb but it will have to be parked under a tree on my drive ,are car covers any good ,do they scratch the car when windy and if they are any good where should i get one from many thanks for your replys darren

I've just bought a Noah cover from Covercraft, I've had one for the past 2 cars I had and they are are good if you get a custom fit version.
The problem with covers if you can't put them on a dirty car as it will cause scratches, the custom ones are better as there is very little movement than a generic size car one but all the same it will cause scratching over time. That said, tree sap is horrible stuff, I parked my Griff near a tree for a day once and it covered the whole car in some weird stuff that I had to have professionally removed as it embedded itself into the paint.
A cover is better than nothing, especially as bird st and modern paint don't mix well.
Don't buy a cheap one or one that looks good 'coz its thick, they need to breathe.

Hamilton Classics do a good cover with a soft lining. Ihave had mine on the car for nearly two years and it still keeps most things out.

Do be careful about dust on the car if you are going to be leaving it under cover for a period of time. A good polish helps apparently

I also have to park under a tree, and I worry more about tree sap and bird muck being left on the paint of my Cerbera than I do about the cover scratching the car. I've had two custom fit covers from Classic Additions, one for my Tuscan and one for my Cerbera, good quality and well made. Very much recommend them
