Why no Shell fuel App?

Why on earth haven't Shell developed one that allows customers to find the closest station to enable them to buy more of their fuel?

Lost count of the number of times I've run too low to risk it, put a fiver/tenner in only to come across a Shell station within a few miles!

Simple as launch app, show me the closest stations (or is it?)and pretty please, their prices!

Can you not just get a shell POI file for your sat nav? I use one which is a couple of years out of date now but I guess there are more recent ones available.

Alternatively my Android phone has a location app which tells you where the petrol stations nearest the current location are, and also gives the brand. Surely there's something similar for the iphone?

Yeah. If you are always local fine, you know where the stations are and probably know which is likely to be the cheapest.

But being 300 miles from home means you don't know where anything is, and could actually be incredibly close without knowing it.
