They are in position...

My contact within the team says they are busy and that he is hopeful that they will be ready

Pictures - still no paint it's a very new car

The interim panels above the splitter are part of the Le Mans low drag package teams are allowed to use there (so I am told by someone who should know)

Now with stickers....

the final livery is going to be quite different from the original press release design

What view point are you coming from?

What is it that you were expecting or what in your view should the car have exactly?

The DailySportscar site has an article about the design team behind the Evora.

They have an impressive CV having been involved with the Audi/Dallara LMP projects of recent years plus many others, see => http://www.ycom.it/hidden/projects/projects.htm

There's also photos of the engine bay which had prominent Cosworth stickers on the intercooler.

I have it from a reliable source that the cars will now remain black for Spa due to lack of time.

The point of view I'm coming from is a black car is a black car...I see hundreds every day...

What I was expecting was a pale blue/white Jetalliance sponsored car (see thier truck in the OP)

Edited to correct spelling.

the black car is not painted - it is carbon... the new paintjob will reflect their sponsors

I am aware of that, but it's hard to appreciate the fine looking weave when it on a race car hard at work

Give them a chance, more important to get the thing competitive. Early accounts suggest this is a very proper effort and a real piece of kit and I am impressed that it was down to a 4:10 at the Le Mans test 'shakedown'. Better than a lot of newcomers manage first time out and hopefully with more time and experience that can come down to something nice and competitive. Will they win this year, unlikely, will they be competitive soon, yes.

Can't wait for Spa, but not expecting great things yet.

I am told that the team was expecting more speed but they are working hard to improve.... isn't that always the story with racers...
