Is anyone else doing the 4am project?

To quote their website

"The aim of the 4amproject is to gather a collection of photos from around the world at the magical time of 4am. Everyone can take part and join in! All you need is a camera. We want to see what you see at that moment in time on that one day. What’s your view at 4am?"

I have a big event at work and would need to be leaving the house at 5.30am anyway, what difference does a couple of extra hours make?

All photographers should be fast asleep at 4am and remain that way for at least another 5 hours!

4am is (I expect) dark and you need light to make photos so its nature's way of saying - 'get some kip'.

A friend suggested I changed the time on my camera so the exif data is correct even if I don't get up in time, I think the bright mid-day sun might give the game away!

You could try what they did in old BW films to simulate moonlight - shoot in daylight and underexpose...
