Daylight Running Lights

I have just bought a 2010 XK60 (7,400 miles) to replace my 2007 XJ TDi Sport.
On the XJ you could select the above from the touch screen, on the XK you can't.

It is a feature that I like, does any one know if it can be zapped in by the dealer, or if not, retro fitted.

Also radio reception is dreadfull, any views?

New XJ is the same. On the previous model it could be changed via the touchscreen, now dealer only. Same with the folding door mirrors

You could always just switch your lights on. If you want to drive around with your lights on all day get a Volvo.

I confess that was my thought too; my continued existence suggests I can see oncoming cars perfectly well without them.

Yep - you and me both. It's the OAPs with cataracts that are less able to distinguish cars from undergrowth.
