Freelander 2 - pre-set driver preferences, how to change?

Father has an FL2, recently returned from the bodyshop. The exterior mirrors that previously folded in when locking the car no longer do so. There may also be other settings that have been reset. How can this be sorted? Or, as I suspect, does it mean a trip to a dealer to plug the car into a computer?

Has he by any chance started using the spare key?

Good call - will check that later. Are the FL2 preferences on the key? I thought that FL set up was fairly basic and on the car and not key-specific. If this doesn't work, any other ideas?

It can be adjusted for different keys to operate the mirrors, 2 stage unlocking, Seat position (if it has memory seats) It will say in the handbook how to change
