Obviously there's a few people heading out for this, is it on TV at all? Can't seem to find anything.

Listening in via 'tunein radio' iPhone app.

God I wish I was there.

If there had been suitable funds in the bank I would have been on the ferry yesterday and sat trackside.

Wonder if access everywhere is really relaxed. Anyone been to test days before, big crowds?

Martin Brundle just been flung out of the garage! Apparently he put a foot over the pitlane line and they 'don't allow tourists here'!!

It's actually a really nice experience. Access to the Tribunes is free, even the above pits one (Christ is that steep) and although there are probably 10k peo[le there, it isn't crowded at all, in fact it feels empty.

Compared to race weekend, 10-14k people there would be lovely.

Listened to all the coverage, just finished, brilliant.

Close battle in June by the look of it.

A great day, unless you are an Aston Fan; still I went to the first day test at Jerez to see Mclaren's new offering and went home disappointed, so there is hope yet.

However seeing Audi's set-up, they have come here with one purpose, and it isn’t to be conservative and come second.

Why is Lotus throwing money at Renault F1? the Evora looks reliable but very underfunded; a good result at Le Mans is just the sort of thing their potential customers want.

An excellent day. OK...the ACO managed to drag defeat from the jaws of victory by only having two ticket booths open this morning at the entrance by Parking Blanc resulting in nearly an hours queue for a free kids ticket and a single 10€ ticket for a good friend.

Scorchingly hot after the little shower about 10am.

I thought that the way that the Audis came through the Ford chicanes was almost magically. It seemed to come through so quickly and sure footedly it clearly has some magic about it. That together with it's appearance and sound reminded me of the picture post look-a-like with a new BSG Cylon Raider!

The Aston didn't look as sure footed in my opinion.

The Ford GTs and the Vettes sounded big, dirty and full of american muscle.

Now, if only I cold have found a Pimms or Guinness tent!!!biggrin

My heart sank when I saw the queues as I arrived, but the sun shone on me as I was walking to the entrance when a young guy offered me his spare ticket.

I would have happily paid him €20, but he only wanted face value.
