I love Pete and Dud as a double act, but never liked Dudley Moore's movies, so have no qualms about it being remade. I haven't seen it yet, but usually love the stuff that Russell does.

Is there any movie they're not going to remake, no matter how crap the original was? confused

I refuse to watch this, on the grounds that, IMHO of course, russell brand is a complete spacktard, and a massive talent vacuum. It might be a really good film, but i for one wont ever find out

I went and saw it.

It wasn't spectacular, but it was a decent enough family film that was funny enough to make sure i didn't switch off and start annoying the people in front of me.

Stop being grumpy, you lot biggrin

This may as well be a "I hate Russell Brand" thread.

If he found a cure for cancer you'd still call him a talentless spacktard! hehe

He was funny when he was on 6 music.

Not bothered with him since. Might watch the film if it turns up on tv though.

Same here. But the original Arthur film's star was Sir John Gielgud, and it would have to be a spectacularly good acting performance to better it.

Great line: Perhaps you would like me to wash your dick for you? You little st.

I've had my profile occupation set to an Arthur quote for years now.

I won't watch the remake.
