So many '11' plates

Everywhere I go/look/drive there are '11' plate cars. Have car companys sold more new cars than usual?
Also considering there are so many 'good' plates that can be made with them...BA11ERS, CA11ERS, CA11 OUT, FA11 OUT etc, I don't think I've seen one.

I suspect most will be company cars? My employer has just replaced our fleet with about 70 or so 11 reg VW's/Audi's.

My 11 Reg plate doesn't make up any interesting words though

Could well be. And lease hire purchases plus rentals.

Seen some fairly dull motors locally - insignias and some 4x4 nissan thing

I've seen surprisingly few, but maybe thats because I do most of my driving in Northampton, and if i had an 11 plate car, I wouldn't take it to Northampton

Yep, I have seen one Porsche on '11', but everything else just boring.
HE11 YEA will look good, but i'm surprised the DVLA have released 'HE11' plates? Won't it upset the cotton wool brigade

I've seen few around here but thats not unusual IME especially in towns and on country lanes; I've barely been on the motorway since February, only a couple of times.

I work down a car dealership district so I see a ton of 11 plates, nothing even remotely interesting spelt out of any of them yet :/
