mid beds/northants meets

following what was said here:

we hope to come to either the mid beds or northants run.i was wondering which would be best to go to and whether its worth the extra mileage to northants. which do you think would have more griffs and chims? - - - -and thanks to thanks to oggs, vodkakid, angusfaldo and ballistic banana for offering to meet up - what meet will you all be at?

Northants was this last Thursday. I didn't count, but I'd guess at about 25-30 cars. Mostly Griff/Chim, a few very nice S & wedges, the Cerb fraternity all seemed to decide to bring their daily drivers for some reason , a couple of other rather nice collectibles. The Silverstone dealership boys were there too. You shouldn't have too much trouble getting plenty of passenger rides, but that goes for most meets. Never been to the Beds ones so can't compare for you - I'd go to everything within striking distance if I were you.

The June meet for Northants might be a bit less well attended because of Le Mans - that will go for every meet that falls on or around that weekend.

Tom tom, BB and myself and Greg (cerb from LB) will be at the Northants run on Sunday starting off at J15a 10.30-11...... VodkaKid where are you going

Angus i think is on This run where the most cars a various TVRs.

I dont know how/how many are going to the Mid beds meet

Which ever one you go to you'll be more than welcome

PS Look out for the next LB meet at Grove lock details will be in events nearer the time.

You might as well post on the events forum to say you are coming, or put yourself on the calendar, then we know to look out for you and wont leave without you.

Northants changes to a Thursday evening in the summer.

There's a mid-Beds meet at the Red Lion on the A600 between Bedford and Shefford this Sunday.

I think we might be getting mixed up between the general PH car meets and the TVRCC car meets.

Zumbruk tom tom is on about the northants run tomorrow orgainised by c3gtk and mxdi not a tvr club meet. If your free come along should be fun....

still a bit confused about when to meet though... 10? 10 30? want to get there as early as the tvrs to have a good look! what time will you tvrs be there?

I am Meeting Griffman at 9 in Shefford then going on to meet Oggs at 930 ish at Toddington and then up to junction 15a to meet everyone else at 10 ish then a convoy to a pub.
Let us know if you wanna meet before the 15a so we will know

Come off Northbound Turn right, go over the motorway and will meet in the layby down there on the left, go past the garden centre, its about half a mile
