Need to give both the engine bay n boot a spruce up.

Got some gunk for the engine bay - what can I and what can I not apply it to?

Also how much water can I throw around in there?

Same for the boot really does it have drain holes?

The Engine bay is pretty straightforward, keep the wet stuff well away from the coil pack at the back of the engine and the air flow meter, and try to avoid heavy dousing of any other electrical connectors, and never, ever use a pressure washer!! A watering can with a long spout is best. As for the boot, id keep water out of there and use panel wipe or similar evaporating cleaner, you get water in the boot youll be cursed forever more with condensation on the bootlid leading to rusty bootlid syndrome!
