Splitter self destructs, fixings advice
Discussion
Hi
My recently fitted splitter went into self destruct mode yesterday as the middle section bent down and made contact with the road (not a nice sound!), taking off a good chunk of the front edge and cracking in many places. It looks like the three centre fixings had gone AWOL, not ripped out, just fallen out. These are the ones that go into the clam reinforcing bar and appeared to be threaded so I just screwed bolts into them, did I get that right and do I just need to use loctite next time?

I've lost one of those in exactly the same way - it's just disappeared, and I dud them up really tight too!My recently fitted splitter went into self destruct mode yesterday as the middle section bent down and made contact with the road (not a nice sound!), taking off a good chunk of the front edge and cracking in many places.
