Harness bolt fixing brackets (images)

Not seen this before.
try the usualls :
Merlin Motorsport
Demon Tweeks
or look into getting some made up.
Looks a little suspect to me it should be a strengthened and braced mounting point I.e directly into a seatbelt mounts or seat mount etc rather than what appears to be a bent piece of metal that extends a catch eye.

That's from Mark Fish apparently and is fixed to a seat belt mount. Should be OK, no?
Would be fine I suppose just doesn't look inpiring. Why don't you get hold of Mark Fish then ?
In the meantime I thought I'd see if anyone else knew.
that looks properly dodgy to me, surely it'd just bend under stress.
Just buy some fia approved 3mm mounting plates, drill a 12mm holes in your floor, rivet the plate in pace n screw the eye bolt in, simple as!
I know it seems a bit drastic drilling holes in your floor, but, god forbid, if you're hanging from your harness upsidedown in your car i dont think youll regret it!

That is not even a tough test; "T" boning a stationary car when you are flat out will really test it's strength and that design does not look right. Just buy some fia approved 3mm mounting plates, drill a 12mm holes in your floor, rivet the plate in pace n screw the eye bolt in, simple as!

Taking tensile load down the bolt is what you need.
Rivet the plate as suggested elsewhere.
