Had to meet my youngest daughter in Norwich today as her car wouldn't start. Flat battery, lights on or something.

Anyway, off we went home, about 20 miles on a mix of roads and, honestly, I had to hoon to keep up

We weren't racing and she drove within the limits everywhere but took advantage at junctions, had excellent sight lines, and generally hustled along in a very business like fashion.
If I had wanted to get in front, I would have had to break the speed limit and do a mad overtaking manoeuvre.
She wasn't driving crazily, she was just good.

Daughter in a 1.0 Nissan Micra = 1 - Dad in Audi 80 Nil

This has made me slightly scared and proud at the same time.

Thank (insert Deity here) she can't afford insurance on any of the tasty motors she really likes.

P.S. Nothing wrong with the Audi. She took advantage, got ahead and stayed there. Like I said, if I had really wanted to pass, I would have been "racing" and we weren't doing that.

Haha thats the beauty of small engined light cars, you can be flooring it everywhere and still be keeping within the limits of the law... + From experience, when you're driving a small engined car which takes time to pick up speed, once you get there you just dont want to lose it.

On the other note, how do you feel about a 21yr old from Aberdeen taking her off you hands? Boy, she probably knows more about fixing cars than me tbh... thats what happens when you've got a mechanic you can trust.
