Evening all,

Gave the P+J a wash this afternoon, she was a little lumpy on start up beforehand (had a good run yesterday but got caught in a serious downpour).
When I moved her into the garage and parked following the wash the dash started playing up, flashing on and doing the pre-start routine when I had taken the key out of the ignition. Shows a fault code 144 too. Started her up briefly and it seemed to clear, this was around 2 hours ago. Thought I had better give her a run as I anticipated some moisture in the electrics somewhere (No I didn't use a jetwash!)
Went out to the garage and the dash and passenger door lights were on and off like a disco, on trying to start her the fuel pump will not engage no matter what and the boot catch started activating. I have managed to stop the disco lights by opening the passenger door and leaving it open.
Anybody any ideas whether it will dry out overnight or does it sound more serious?

Thanks

I have code 144 as 'power supply control'. Sounds like its wet somewhere or a fuse has cracked maybe?. In the PS footwell is the door ECU. Might also be worth checking the 80A fuse in the footwell (against the bulk head) and the 100A fuse under the airbox.

Is the car connected to a trickle charger?

Mine has done this before - flat battery caused by faulty alternator diode...

Hope you get it sorted...
