I got really lucky just now when a motorbike ahead of me lost some massive iron component which bounced right at me doing 60mph in the T350. Was no way to avoid it hitting me, but somehow it hit my car right on the numberplate and then bounced to the side of the road.

It made quite a sound upon impact but there is not a scratch on my car! Only a scratch on the plate. Man that's some good fortune, it was some kind of 15-20cm long iron pipe piece with a diameter of 4cm or so. No idea what it was and I can't be 100% sure it come off the motorbike. Anyway gave me quite a scare, it was bouncing up almost half a meter above ground so it might as well have bounced up on my bonnet and then right in my face, low as the cars are.

Must celebrate tonight in town tonight smile

We were driving through Scotland nearly 20 years ago when a lorry up the road (on a motorway) lost its propshaft, few seconds of brown trousers as it was bouncing around all over the place and we were heading towards it at pace. Thankfully that motorway had wooded central reservation and the prop embedded itself in there, we just got a light shower of small metal bits

Glad you and the 350 are okay
