Collected my new Griff from Fernhurst yesterday, drove 200 miles on mostly fantastic roads, gave it a wash today. Happy days 
Loving the car so far, not as sharp as my previous Tamora or Tuscan, but a lot of fun to drive in that leisurely(ish) V8 torque wave driving style. I'm going to enjoy the car as is for the summer (it is basically standard with a Fernhurst sports exhaust), but already on the long term tweak list are suspension (it's a bit bouncy!), noise (great already, just not quite enough of it), alu dash, different seats (lots of sliding about currently) and, possibly, different wheels (18" anthracite spiders, any opinions?).
(Thanks also to the guys at Fernhurst for a very easy and enjoyable purchase experience, well worth the price premium to me.)

18" Spiders look the biz, but its expensive as you need to get the 5 stud hub conversion as well. Do a search on here as its been a regular forum subject.
I'm interested to hear why you changed from the T-cars and the Speed6 to the Griff and the V8. And then I'd like to hear how you compare the driving experience.

I actually sold both the Tamora and Tuscan to buy a silly Italian red car (fantastic, but a scary amount of money to tie up in a motor). With my sensible head on it had to be another TVR, and having "done" the speed six, the Griff seemed the obvious choice, although I did toy with the idea of a Cerbera, or even a wedge. Early days yet but I couldn't be happier with my choice, the Griff having always been on my list of "one day I'll have one" cars.Of the T cars I really loved the Tamora, I had a particularly good/young one, and tweaked the suspension and diff to my tastes. Looks wise the Tamora doesn't hit all the right notes for me, whereas the Tuscan (and Griff) does - the Tuscan was never quite as much fun to drive as the Tamora though, partly because I really prefer a proper convertible, partly because I suspect my Tuscan wasn't one of the better ones (as every TVR is very different of course).
I'll post another update in a few weeks once I get to know the Griff more...
