2006 Focus 1.6 Engine rattle

My dad has a 06 plate Focus 1.6 petrol and it has started to rattle for a few seconds upon start up. I recently changed the oil (used correct 5w-30) and filter but it hasnt fixed it. The rattle itself seems to sound up top rather than crank bearings etc
Is this a sign of premature oil pump failure. The car leads a very easy life and peforms fine. It only has 52k on the clock
Any ideas?
