My Dad is half interested in trying to restore it, anyone know how much a front bumper is, just as idea on prices ?


We are used to dealing with Ford's, so are expecting prices to be slightly more.

...so it needs some glass, a bit of paint and possibly some trim. Not the end of the world. Even if it turns out to be concealing a terminal problem it would easily break for more than the asking price. Looks like a no brainer to me.

Finding a front bumper will take some time last time I bought one was in 2002 when someone had reversed into my csi ( they never even left a note) it took ages to find one that was not rusty, paid £250 for it so expect to pay a lot more now, if you can find a good one. Also that car is in Ireland.

If you read the ad you will see that someone set his car cover on fire, not a case of letting it get into that state, more a case of some people have no respect for other peoples P & J

See thats what we are afraid of, already got a few projects on the go,

But is there anything else that would be seriously expensive ? The front alloy looks to be slightly melted, but I think there's a spare one so that would do that. I presume it would need new tyres, grill lights, suspension parts, door/window rubbers.

I think it would be worth trying to restore it, now to try get in contact with the owner.

Unlikely to get it now, sellers phone is turned off still and the add has been changed so I presume its been sold.
