Hi people.

I uploaded a screen saver (photos of the Highlands of Scotland) to my webspace (which I'm going to put online to raise money for the local mountain rescue team)

A few downloaded and Norton flagged (and removed on download) the W32.Pinfi (aka Win32.Parite) virus. Not a nasty one, just a pain in the proverbial and difficult to track rather than being malicious.

As I don't want to put the wind up punters (or spread any sort of virus) I thought it essential to fix.

Norton scanned my file/folder and HD but never found it.

Scratch head.

Downloaded a remove tool from BitDefender. Ran remove tool. Ran scans with Norton and BitDefender - no virus found.

Zipped, uploaded and downloaded to 3 computers, no virus detected.

Before I link it from my site, It'd be good to get a few others to download, make sure it doesn't still get flagged.

If anyone has a few seconds (broadband! - 8 mb zip file) - could you download new file and let me know?

If it does get flagged, This computer will end up in the loch.

If you could let me know. Ta

Steve
