There's only one Samatha (Bewitched on TV now)
Discussion
She and Bewitched were great to watch in the '60's as a youngster. Hard to believe she passed away in '95.

I think she was the first woman I was in love with - as a 7 or 8 year old! Hard to think that she was born before my mother. I was one of the few kids in my junior school who went home to watch this, loved it for years.
When I see an episode now - tried to get my boys interested but it's too 'gentle'! - it brings back such a rush of nostalgia and seems so recent, I can even remember many of the story lines and events 35+ years later. The tv we grew up on can still have such an emotional hold can't it.

I was an "I Dream of Genie" man myself i.e. Barbra Eden.

Although I think I was more impressed with the fact that the hero of the show (Larry Hagman) was an astronaut.

It's a boy thing isn't it? The woman in teh TV show makes you feel a certain way (that you don't quite understand) and there's a bloke with a dream job. I used to be addicted to the New Avengers for the same reason: Purdey for the former, and Steed's job+XJ12C for the latter.

Hmmm - need to look up pictures of that Munsters lass... rings a distant bell...
