Cheers, anything blessed by the hand of the mighty Shawn 'The Shield' Ryan is bound to be worth a look.

I've been watching this since it started in the us and I've really enjoyed it, worth watching if you're into that kinda thing.

No problem.

Another reason I'm not going to tune in is because, after a quick search, the reviews didn't seem too positive.

Largely positive reviews on Metacritic though?

I'd say its worth watching due to some of the actors.. its not stunning or gripping, its certainly no shield (or southland), but its ok for a middle of the road cop drama..

I dont rush to watch it, but I do add it to my weekly queue.

Fox cancel Chicago Code.

I'm glad I decided not to watch this as it has now been cancelled.

I've decided to stick with it and watch the season, even if it will be the only one.

Lie to me has been cancelled too which is another series we watch.

Bugger, looked good too.

I hate getting into something and it's gets canned, it's a legacy of Deadwood and to a lessor extent My name is Earl.

I'm pissed. Puerile, idiotic shows seem to get 8 or 9-season runs, yet something like Chicago Code gets canned? I've just been through some of my other favourite TV series and several have been binned including Lie To Me and The Event. SGU has been cancelled too.

Just watched the last episode of 'Chicago Code' and at least they were able to give large parts of the storyline some closure. It's a shame, I've really enjoyed it and there was lots of potential for it. Shawn Ryan has a knack of producing cop shows that aren't 'typical'. The 'tying up' of the varying threads seemed a little sudden (unsurprisingly) and somewhat clunky. However, I also watched the final 'The Event' tonight and there was huge potential for that show too - it left a number of questions unanswered and I'm annoyed that's finished too. There's talk of another network picking it up, but I doubt it will happen.

I seem to have a way of really getting into TV series that subsequently get cancelled. Yet we get spoon-fed yet more X-Idol American Factor and other 'reality' TV shows incessantly.

I guess the populace gets what it deserves.
