Best Sounding Car Test day

Certainly the loudest car from todays test day were the Ford GTs. Them Corvettes aren't far behind though. Not as loud as the Panos Batmobile from a few years back mind. The new Aston isn't a scratch on last years car soundwise, also looks (own opinion). Then I heard the Kronos car, and thought that's gotta be a V12 Aston and hey great it's a Lola Aston. Great to hear that sound again. Audi Ultra and the Peugeot 908 have that warp sound woosh, but the Peugeot does burble a bit.

Kronos Lola Aston is the best sound for me.

Very quiet, soundwise. I was particulary interested to see it though. It competed well, and it was especially nice to see it out cornering various Ferraris at Dunlop.

On the level chum .... Great sound.

You'll like this then... with Darren Turner Half with commentary, half normal. 6.00 minutes to 6.10 minutes, out from Mulsanne = best bit for me. Gotta be one of the best jobs in the world. Sounds amazing as a spectator, while standing high on one of those oil drums they use for litter at Mulsanne.

Mind you the corvette did wonders to wake me up during the lunchtime snooze in the dunlop granstand.

Enjoyed the day at track. The Lola Aston sounded great lol. As for the Aston racing team, what a poor show. If i was Dave Richards and my car was running slowrer than the next class down i would be asking questions.

I have tweeted him and asked him to explain lol.

Hi, yeah seems like they've gone backwards based on Sundays goings-on, but that's easy to say when it's all in developement. They pulled the other car just in case. I hope they sort it in time. That's it though, they need time but maybe haven't got enough before the real race. Little more than 6 wks now !!!
