Good evening,

Been a long time lurker on pistonheads and ironically my first post is about watches!

Looking for a bit of advice, I took out a watch tonight with the intention of taking some pics to put on eBay. I have had the watch for 7 years and I can honestly say I have worn it about 5 times due to the fact I hate the uncomfortable strap plus I wear my Oris Titan everyday.

I have been toying with the idea of putting any money I get from the sale of this watch towards a Seiko 5 military (100m version) and a comfy NATO strap to kick about in.

However......

As I was taking the eBay pics on my camera tonight, I realised that I do actually like the style of my watch minus the strap, so should I get a the case bead blasted and buy a new strap or should I stick it on eBay and go for the Seiko?

Watch in question is this http://www.e2watches.co.uk/images/d%20G%2037197700...

Firstly, welcome to Pistonheads! thumbup

Secondly, how much do you expect the D&G watch to sell on eBay for, post final value and PayPal fees? If you like the design, is it really worth selling for such a small amount? However if you've only worn the watch 7 times since purchase will a new strap and bead blast finish persuade you to choose it over the Oris more often?

I'd personally keep the D&G (Although it's not to my personal taste) and buy a new Seiko. If there is no choice in the matter, then I'd sell the D&G and buy a new Seiko in a heartbeat! thumbup
