Is it a 4.2 or a 5Ltr ?
Discussion
Looking at trading in the wife's 58 plate Freelander 2 on a Range Rover Sport through an established car trader.
The seller has listed the Sport as a 4.2, however, when I go to get an insurance quote it comes up as a 5ltr and when I did a dummy listing through ebay, it also said it was a 5ltr ?
The car was apparently used in Switzerland 4 months a year and although an 06 car was first registered in the UK in July 2009.
The seller says it hasn't had an engine change and is definitely a 4.2, is this a case of the DVLA miss registering it when it was imported ? It's a right hand drive model and on UK plates.
Any advice gratefully received !
Cheers

Happens a lot with insurance quotes online, my old Volvo they were sure was only a 2.0 eBay had the same information too. You can run it through askmid and see if that says it's a 4.2
When we're ordering spares Land Rover can usually look up the reg and tell which parts we need from that so maybe call and ask for confirmation
