Fitting a CG Lock on Griffith?

Hi,

I have a CG lock on my other car and loved it so bought one for my Griffith. The seatbelt buckle where the CG Lock is supposed to be attached, has a curved 90-degree plastic lip. Therefore the CG Lock does not fit properly.

Anyone got an easy fix for this? (would rather avoid changing the 'belt buckle)...

i think its the same type of seatbelt as a chimaera and i fitted mine on upside down,its a bit trickier to use and you cant see the logo but it works! if you go to cg website i think they refer to it as a "proffessional." Also if you search google i am sure another griffith owner has a tutorial with pictures :-)

My sagaris was the same, use upside down, no probs!

There is a guide on the web with pictures I used when fitting - it made a lot more sense than the original instructions, but I can't find it.

I think it was on someone's site about their Chim if anyone else can recall?

That's me.

The simple way is to reverse it as mentioned above

Fitting a CG Lock backwards

I later developed a clamp that fits between the CG Lock and the buckle to allow the CG Lock to mount the right way round
