Car Finance

Can anyone recommend please. Has anyone used Close Finance, any feedback. Don't want to use main dealer finance if i can help it.....

Never used them, but personally I'd use a personal loan rather than have finance on the car, just gives you more flexibility.

Though you do of course benefit from the halves and thirds rule with finance on the vehicle.

Other option is stooging on a 0% credit card.

Pistonheads does not allow the use of finance for purchasing cars. You must be able to pay cash or you will be labeled a feckless spendthrift and ejected from the site!

Cant see myself buying a £40k car with a credit card...

Why not? Spread over a couple of cards, or even just some of the £40k. Can work out a very cheap way of borrowing if you play the system right.

Have been doing some thinking and if i use dealer finance i may be able to get a better deal on the car...Just a thought....

Marks and Spencer do a loan where you can defer some of the repayment to a balloon payment at the end.

Worth considering if you are looking at something that will be a low depreciator.
