I've recently started looking at the above cars as my wife is expecting our first child.

Having looked through the classifieds at the bigger diesels they all have mileage approaching or surpassing 100k. I know the engine will be solid past this, but what other things begin to add up.

The Z4M I have now is on 40k and doesn't put a foot wrong, the TT I had before it had lots of small things go between 60-80k.

I dont know where you are looking but they don't all have mileages surpassing 100k at all, are you looking at the bottom of the market or something?

There are numerous lower mileage 535d and 335d for £18-£25k?

Apart from most needing a small fix to the intercooler pipe, very little to worry about.

Yer was looking at cheaper ones, leaving room for a toy.

Maybe I just chuck all the money in to 1 pot and get a better one.
