Just to let everyone know that i fixed the indicator problem i mentioned in my only previous post, after buying a combined light control module form a well known internet source of jag parts i found to my dismay that it was exactly the same and only after doing cold resistance checks to the chassis from the front indicators i discovered a difference from l/h to r/h sides the good side being 2 ohms the bad was 12 ohms on searching back through the cabling with the blinkers running handling a section of cable rectified the fault and it turned out that Bob Botchit had been at play with the electricians tape, removing this revealed twisted together rusty leads, a quick cut and crimp cured it. advice in hindsight is look a t the simple things first. pic of my cheapy attached, regards Chris.

Glad you got it fixed. It makes me think that my problem may be the same, that being shoddy workmanship for the person who put the x308 bumpers on my car. I'll do what you did and work my way back from the indicator. Many thanks for posting your findings.
