Custom vinyl stickers

Morning All

I'm looking to get my website stuck onto the back of my car...can anybody recommend:

1. a good sticker type that will be robust to washing but not leave marks when I come to sell the car;
2. a good place to get such stickers at a reasonable cost.

I'm thinking of going for individual (or scripted) letters rather than a full sheet image. Would this be a pain in the derrier to apply? Should it be left to the professioanls?

Loads of PH'ers use them for stickers for Le Mans but they also do custom work as well.
