It's gone...

As some of you know, I put the S2 up for sale in the classifieds last week as for various reasons it was time to move on and let someone else enjoy the car as much as I have.

I had a very pleasant and genuine car enthusiast come to see the car yesterday evening who decided he'd like to take it off my hands.

I'm very happy that it's going to a good home but completely gutted that we're going our seperate ways.

He's coming to collect the car tomorrow so in the meantime I've put the car in secure storage to make sure nothing happens to it between now and then... I have great luck like that.

It's great you've potentially sold it so quickly but sad to see it go. You must be excited about replacing it with something fruity though

Your 540 did sound nice but at the moment I'm enjoying the quiet waftyness (is that even a word?!).

Ben, that morning out was probably the most memorable drive I've ever had in the car. I'm glad that both you and Nigel convinced me it was a good idea to brave the snow.

John/Kinky, not bad suggestions but I think the colour is a tad masculine for me.

As for replacement, well this is the mile muncher that has replaced it:



4.0 V8, 6 Speed manual gearbox and a pretty good turn of speed so I can't complain. Doesn't feel anywhere near as special to drive though.
