Number of teeth on speedo ring? (GKN)

Does anyone know how many teeth are on the speedo sensor ring that's fitted to the input on the GKN diffs? I've heard it should be 15, 16, or 17, but I don't know for sure. (I'm fitting a T5 to a car that originally had an LT77, so I need to add a speedo ring.)

18 I think. At least that's what I have written down from when I last took the diff apart.

AFAIK it depends on the instruments you have - Does your speedo go forwards or backwards?

Had major issues getting the original speedo to work when we (I say we.. I mean Austec did the work and I paid them ) swapped the LT77 for a T5....... ended up having to get a new speedo that could be calibrated.

Hi, No idea on all the technical....
But i do have GKN speedo ring and the
speedo that worked with it going spare.
