Sat nav: Jag disc same as Navteq?

Hi all,

Just wondered if I could pick your brains re Sat Nav DVDs. My S-type has an old Jag labelled sat-nav DVD and I wondered if there are any advantages in sourcing a new/newer Jag disc as opposed to a Navteq disc? Are they both the same? Will the Navteq disc hold any firmware updates as well as the more up to date mapping?

Hi, can't answer your question .. but I recently upgraded my 2003 XJ disc, which included firmware upgrade .. which improved the system.

It came from www.sat-navi.com .. not sure of the source, but works very well.
