Pretty proud of that burnout, shame about the lack of runs.

yeah something was going on with that lane, no probs in the right at all, and i saw some other cars do the same thing,
i think it was just too sticky and the tires were trying to grab the track,
unlike sportsman cars which dead hook the tyres and like good traction pro type cars rely on a slicker track

i hear an awfull lot of guys complaining "there was no traction at all" my experience is that the big international weekends are glued less and sledded more than the national events,
iv rarley seen the track as sticky as it was easter weekend and one of my grew guys was handed BOTH the soles of his shoes at 300 feet out when thet went in the cart to recover the superbird

I am reliably informed the track was using a different glue which they need to get their heads around...

Graham,
Once before I posted something without quoting what I was answering and I got slated because somebody (possibly you) thought I was answering another point within the thread, so I have learnt to use the quote button to make clear what I am answering.
I agree that on this occasion the quote may not have been necessary.
As for spelling and grammar, some of us can (or are better biggrin) and some of us can't. As for putting a race car together - some of us can and some of us can't (I fall into the latter category)...
