no Revs, no working engine...??

was driving all day and when i tried this evening to start my AJP engine woke up again but.... without Revs, she just stopped...

only way to keep the engine on if by reving...

what might be the probem here???

i hope so...

guess i could recharge the battery and see if all is fine. if yes -> fuse ok, alternator could be... or even very likely not ok

Suspect something fuelling wise wrong (throttles out of balance, throttle pots moved) rather than electrical.

If you haven't enough electrons to keep it running at idle you'll never get it to crank over on its own.

Laptop and cable will be needed I suspect.

but i just can keep it running if i Rev... otherwise it dies...

Yep, why would you need electricity any less when you rev it?

What does that normally indicate out of interest ?

Blown or failing 100amp fuse.

i must say that i have been driving without my airfilters... i removed the F1 panel, i went for MOT as well and they need to check chassis number... i removed airfilters to get the F1 out and stupid enough i forgot to put them back... I have Joolz green airfilters...
MOT went fine btw

at the moment i am charging the battery... no idea if that was needed...

It won't hurt (battery that is).

I'd charge it up, put the filters back on and plug a laptop in and check your adaptive/throttle pot values.

Also check the throttle link rod.

you know, i dont have a laptop and i have never even seen it done...

guess that will change soon...

i hope all will be fine and that she was just jealous because i was driving my Tuscan today as well...

Does the engine sound normal when you're keeping it running? If not it might not be running on all cylinders - check plugs, HT leads, coil packs. If those check out ok test the injectors, maybe one has failed. If it sounds smooth and revs normally check the idle control screw and throttle balance bar, if ok use laptop, could be a bad sensor, eg throttle pots, crank sensor, temp sensor. Could be anything really, HTH

after thinking over things whole night, my cerb did not change her mind.

when keep the engine running she sounds absolutly normal, nothing strange at all

lots of checking to do...
