i have been looking on the MSV website and have noticed that they are doing a few novice taster track day sessions. I am very interested in signing up and seeing what the car will do however the insurance is the problem.

My current insurer (captain of a ship) doesn't cover track use so i need to arrange some cover for this 20 minute session. As it would be my first ever time out on track and with my new (to me) P&J i would want it insured.

Is there a recommended insurer?
Will anybody insure me for such a short session? - i would do a longer one but as its standard and cash is a little tight i would worry about tyre wear, brake fade etc. so would prefer a short session to start the likely addiction....
My demographic isn't the best - 21 years old in a 22k BMW 335i - i pay £850 a year for road use but will this single 20 min session be a lot more expensive, especially with no previous experience?

Any help appreciated,

thanks muchly

Moris http://www.moris.co.uk/?Submit=+

I'm not sure about a discount for short sessions but it worth a try.

Not sure how it is for cars, but whenever I've looked into it for the bike, it's just not made economical sense. Plus they have a stipulation where they'll only pay out for a total-loss claim, again not sure if this will be the same for cars.

i don't go anywhere else. they're not always the cheapest, but insurance shouldn't just be about finding the cheapest premium because it's not until you ned to make a claim that you fully appreciate just how good (or bad) an insurance company are.

the whole team are experienced, knowledgable and enthusiastic - some of the best customer service of any company i've ever dealt with.

I'd second that. I hope they get an online booking system because that would put the icing on the cake.

Thanks for the above endorsement - I had an arrangement with MORIS for my customers but they seemed to have dropped completely off the planet.
