Griffith info.

Hi. I am looking for my first TVR, after loving them for so long I can finally get one. I have seen a Griffith in silver with black stripes on a well know site that has been smashed and is up for sale to repair, I am pretty sure many of you know the said car. I have had a lot of info from the last owner, and am very interested in buying and saving the car. The only thing is I live a long way from it and was wondering if any of you had been to see the car and could give me some info on it. Any info would be great.

I saw the car a couple of weeks ago (happened to be 'passing' ;-) ):
- not sure it's a BV (chassis no. looked like a standard 4.3 (see genuine BV thread..);
- front chassid member bent.....
- damp interior/rear screen/hood needs replacing;

- bloke said Cat c in Jersey may not show if re-reg in UK but still way overpriced IMHO?
